Fighting Fit is pleased to announce that Claire Bale, Head of Research Communications and Engagement at Parkinson’s UK has agreed to provide a research update as part of the weekend residential programme for younger and working age people with Parkinson’s.
Claire said “On behalf of Parkinson’s UK I am delighted to be helping with the Fighting Fit programme. It’s a great opportunity to talk about the latest cutting edge Parkinson’s research – from stem cells, to exercise, to genetic therapies. I will also talk about the work of the Parkinson’s UK Research Support Network and outline the opportunities for younger and working-age people to participate in research trials”.
Fighting Fit is an innovative residential weekend programme for younger and working-age people with Parkinson’s that encourages self-awareness and helps each participant to take greater control of their life. The aim is to provide information and sign-posting, to share experiences and discuss the practical and emotional impact of living and working with Parkinson’s.
