There is so much that goes on in the background to make these fabulous weekends possible. From setting the venues; contacting and booking specialists and speakers; monitoring and progressing enquiries to booking fulfilment, taking fees and controlling payments. A lot of thought goes into arranging timetables to benefit all and generally keep on top of proceedings while ensuring everyone enjoys a worthwhile experience.
I was diagnosed in 2017 and was fortunate to be part of the initial pilot weekend in Aylesbury in November 2018 and instantly made some amazing friends and contacts which has certainly helped me manage this frustrating condition.
I was very happy to be able to help more this year ‘behind the scenes’ as admin/bookings co-ordinator and then ‘’front of house’ helping at the latest weekend in Aylesbury in October 2019 sporting a very ‘yellow’ team top.
