The Advocacy Wall is located on the Parkinson’s Movement website and is an initiative of the Cure Parkinson’s Trust.

Created by people with Parkinson’s for people with Parkinson’s, the aim of the site is to inform and encourage all to get involved in any way they wish to and are able.

Pat said “We are pleased to be able to share information about Fighting Fit and want to encourage as many younger and working-age people with Parkinson’s to have the chance to join a Fighting Fit programme”.

Fighting Fit is an innovative residential weekend programme for younger and working-age people with Parkinson’s that encourages self-management. The organisation is run on a not-for-profit basis and its aim is to provide information and sign-posting, to share experiences and discuss the practical and emotional impact of living and working with Parkinson’s.

If you want to find out more, you can either contact us to register interest in a weekend or sign up to our newsletter which will provide you with news about this exciting opportunity.
